(Before I continue with D01, let's talk about something more current.
Have been going through emotion roller coaster but I can no longer share with anyone,
at least not anyone near by or close enough who will know what is exactly going on.
This feeling really irritates me,
it's like looking at people or incident with an x-ray eye,
(not because of any particular incident or reason, just an overall conclusion)
everything became so ugly, so so ugly.
Sometime I ask myself, why must we grow up?
难过时的笑,还比哭难看。)
D01
Okay, so the first photo was taken in the London Airport toilet,
now I finally recall how the airport looks like.
We were brushing our teeth and washing our face in the toilet because it was like early in the morning, 8am,
(if I never remember wrongly),
and just before we head off, we must totally have a photo together in the toilet (ha!).
So we headed out, and trying to find our way to their "mrt" station.
It was pretty easy as all the signs were clear and informative,
so we reached the station without much difficulties, except our bags were really heavy,
especially after a long flight without good sleep.
Bought our "Oyster" card and here we go!
Finally we were out of the airport and could finally see how does London really look like,
throughout the whole train ride, I was observing people around,
I can still remember this lady, she look really "artistic" (in a good way k),
she came to London for some show / exhibition, how cool was that man!
(must be thinking how I know, she was having a conversation with a guy sitting opposite her,
and I think they only met on the train)
So after not long, we finally reached our first stop, where we were going to stay in London.
Just as we stepped out from the station, sun shining on our faces, wind started blowing,
everything was really new to me (because I had only been to asian countries),
love the roads, love the buildings, love the road signs, love the advertisements pasted on letter box or walls.
Looking at the map, being a road direction idiot (me),
really don't know how I passed my geography, luckily Y was here, I just followed her all the way (hehe!)
Though we made a wrong turn once, we managed to find our way back to the right track
and reached our London stay early!
Because Y and I didn't buy the phone card,
basically we were uncontactable and could not make any phone calls out as well,
so we had to find somewhere which we could wait for Ning and Sk.
We walked back the path where we came from, and decided to settled down at some breakfast cafe to have a drink.
Ordered hot chocolate (which I kept drinking throughout the whole trip because no coffee for me),
sat down at the table outside the cafe, along the road,
finally can understand why tv always show people sitting along the roadside and can just chill for many hours,
that was how I felt at that moment, just want to sit there whole day as the wind blow.
When it was about the time we were suppose to meet Ning and Sk,
we decided to head back to our London stay,
just the moment we reached, Ning and Sk appeared in front of us!
(me and Y still discussing why they haven't reach and cannot be they were lost, because Ning is super good at directions.)
We went up to the apartment and met the house owner whom we will be staying with for the next few days,
let's talk about the apartment in the next post k! Interesting house with lots of details.
Because time was running out and we wanted to spend more time walking around (and shopping of course),
we left the place quickly after we had a orientation with the house owner and packed our bags nicely.
We were separating our routes, Ning and me were going to Portobello Market while Y and Sk going another market.
Managed to sit the red bus, but of course not those classic ones,
but we went up to second storey and sat right in front.
But my eyes gave up maybe at the 1/3 bus journey and I slept.
The next moment I knew, was Ning waking me up and we alighted from the bus,
(of course me not knowing where were we, as usual).
However we alighted a little too early,
it's okay, at least we managed to grab a bite from the nearby supermart, hungry man!
(love the sandwich combi set with fruits and drink, cheap and good! - which is also a good way to save our money)
After some distance of walking,
we finally reached Portobello Market!
I was really really excited, all the vintage items / clothes on sale / second hand clothes / flowers / food,
the photo with the 3 big woks above, I can totally still smell the prawn, so nice la, but didn't buy to try :(
I also like how those roadside artists just find their favourite spot and start performing,
it kind of brighten up the whole area, talented people are always attractive ya~
Oh! another interesting thing was how they brand bubble tea over there,
they make it looks like some science lab and bubble tea is like some chemical mix,
quite cool, but I also saw quite a number of unfinished cup lying around on the floor...
So after much walking, it was about time for us to head off to our next pit stop (St Paul) to meet up with Y and Sk.
Unfortunately, they were having some event that day, and we could not go inside to take a look :[
Thus, we just nua around the church, photo taking session, camwhoring session.
I still remember there was this very gentleman guy, he saw us having a hard time taking photo
(to fit all of us plus the church behind),
he came up to us and asked if he could help, so nice of him can!
But we still decided to manage it on our own, haha!
*sidetrack abit -
I really like how we can just anyhow find any spot (grass / roadside / stone floor / anywhere) and sit down just like that,
without getting any judging eye contacts from anyone around, that's real living.
Finally, we decided to go back to the town where we staying in London to explore further.
Chose a bar-restaurant and ordered our dinner,
the food was really good, but I could not eat much because of the loud music (when I mean loud, it was really loud),
I will feel nauseous and giddy, so sigh! If not I can obvious enjoy the food more.
Had a walk back home,
and because of the flight, lack of sleep and walking,
I was so so so tired.
Bathed and slept (super early), I think before the sun set (which is usually around 9plus10).
Okay, that's about it for D01.
I think for me to cover all the 14 days of this adventure, I will need 3 1/2 months, looking at my speed.
But I like how I can slowly think back, and all the emotions and scenes just appear back in my mind one by one,
it feels great.

Adventure still continue...
