从新看了一偏,内心有种说不出的微妙;

Back to the Europe trip day 2,
actually just like I said before, my memory really failing me already,
memories of the Europe trip had slowly became so blurry :/
Firstly, the first photo show where we stayed in London,
it was really cool, because it was like someone's house and she rent out for backpackers like us!
I don't really like to stay in hotel when traveling, because really to feel the culture, I think living with the local is one of the best choices.
So as you can see, we didn't have a room, but have the whole living room to ourselves (with favourite rainbow checkered bedsheet),
the apartment was located along the canel, so the view was not so bad,
and of course, not forgetting the dinosaur skeleton model (roar),
overall, it was a nice stay!
So on our day 2,
we had planned to first go for The Winter's Tale @ Regent's Park Open Theatre.
I enjoyed the whole show, and amazed by the stage design, they even interacted with the audiences.
Which totally link to the life I want in the future,
always wanted to go for such theatre shows / musicals / museum (with my husband and children, hehehe).
After the show, we had a walk in the park,
which filled with all the pretty flowers and plants, with people lying down on the grass,
breathing in the atmosphere, feeding the ducks and birds, having mini picnics.
How I wish I can have such slow pace life every day.
We found a spot and sat down for awhile, don't bear to leave so quickly yet.
However because our plan for the day was a little tight, we moved on to our next destination after awhile.
Next up was Petticoat Lane Market, though it was not as good and interesting as the Portobello Market (personal thought),
I think you can find good deals there for sure if you search harder.
We didn't spend too long there, as we continue walking down,
we reached the Brick Lane.
If you look at the photo of a convenience store front above,
I can still remember clearly, how I stood in front of the shop, took out my camera and as I pressed the shutter,
the store owner came out and said: "please pay for taking the photo of my shop".
As usual, I didn't even look at the man, turned and walked away.
Now, come and think about that day, if the man didn't let me go, I might be in trouble (because obviously I'm a tourist).
So I quicken my steps to catch up with Ning and Y,
as we walked along the Brick Lane, there were many walls with colourful graffiti,
and of course lots of food stalls there!
Seriously, I always have a hard time deciding what to eat?! Just want to have everything (that's why so fat now :x)
After walking a little more, we decided to buy our food at the international zone (don't know is that how they call it).
Met up with SK after our lunch,
(usually because the 4 of us look at different things when we reach somewhere new,
we will definitely split up and arrange to meet up again at somewhere else.
But for somebody like me, who is a total direction idiot,
I always stick to Ning, our Miss Tour Guide, ha!)
we went to take a bus to our next stop, Tate Modern.
After we ended our Museum visit,
the view outside the Tate Modern was so awesome,
the sky was so blue, as we walked along the river, and as the wind blew, it was really something you cannot experience in Singapore.
And finally we reached our final destination, the Tower Bridge!
It was so photogenic can, haha! Cannot stop snapping photos there.
When we were still a little far away from there, the bridge doesn't look as huge as I thought it was,
but obviously I was so wrong? When we finally stood on the Tower Bridge, I suddenly felt so small.
After being amazed by the scenery at the Tower Bridge,
we slowly walked back to where we could take a train home.
Really enjoyed all the little walks from one place to another,
best way to "feel" the country.
Before taking the train, we decided to eat at a restaurant near the train station.
The food was great, but! my camera no more battery already, so didn't take any photo of our dinner :C
-
Adventure keep continuing (just don't know when is the next time I will update again :P)
